Story – The Crus Yacht way to water toys

Megayachts are growing, decks are rising, volumes are becoming imposing. There is an undeniable magnificence in large yachting, but it carries an inevitable paradox: the larger the vessel, the further you get from the sea.
Shielded by stabilizers and isolated in air-conditioned lounges, physical contact with the water becomes a rare privilege.

It is no coincidence that superyacht garages are increasingly crowded today. The demand for water toys, tenders, and amenities has exploded precisely to answer that visceral need to rediscover proximity to saltwater, to put hands and body back in touch with the elements. But here is where we draw a sharp line.
Much of what populates those aft decks is, frankly, noise: disposable gadgets, plastic inflatables, industrial byproducts. Objects that share little of the engineering, style, and noble soul of the mother ship hosting them.

We believe the sea deserves more respect. And so does the owner.

When Truc 12 redefined the game

We didn’t have megayachts in mind when we designed the Truc 12. But boats, often, choose their own destiny.

The most demanding owners—those who truly know the sea and don’t need a captain to explain the wind—immediately sensed its potential. They began requesting it for their ships.
The Truc 12 thus became a cult amenity because it offered exactly what was missing: the essence of solo sailing, the sheet between your fingers, the thrill of authenticity without the crew’s mediation.

Superyacht quality in dinghy dimensions

This spontaneous approach has become our golden rule. We don’t compromise simply because a hull measures three or four meters.

We are talking about a tactile and visual luxury that must stand up to the finishes of a 40-meter yacht. No compromises.

Our hulls do not look out of place next to a transom signed by the world’s best designers, because they share the same language: that of nautical haute couture.

Engineering on deck

A top-tier toy must always be ready. We kept this in mind. We know the crew’s time is precious and the owner’s desire does not tolerate waiting.

Every Crus Yacht hull destined for this use is optimized for integration with the mother ship. From the featherweight displacement to the integrated lifting points, everything is engineered for rapid, risk-free launching and hauling.

But the real magic happens once in the water. There, we leave room for absolute ease of use. The boat is intuitive. The owner can jump aboard, trim the sail, and detach from the main hull. No convoluted manuals, no assistance required: just the sea and your own sensitivity.

The true Authentic Performance

Choosing a Crus Yacht as an onboard amenity is not a choice for everyone. It is for those who know that the most intimate and profound luxury is found by returning to the helm firsthand, just inches from the water.

The rest is simply our habit of not following trends, offering unique pieces, crafted for the right clients.
